Purchasing Engineer

For the further development of our engine shop activities we are looking for a Purchasing Engineer.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Head of Engine Services, you will be required to perform the following:
• Define and setup a vision and strategy for the procurement needs of the engine shop
• Search for, establish and maintain strong and qualitative long term relationships with our suppliers
• Negotiate framework agreements with the aim to reduce overall company cost
• Conclude and purchase materials needed during the maintenance of our customers’ engines
• Ensure full traceability of the purchases in the company ERP (AMOS)
• Develop procedures and processes for improved cost control and effective material procurement
• Develop and improve the inhouse ERP to streamline the entire cycle
• Develop and maintain effective KPI metrics.

Your Profile :

• Master of Science degree in Engineering in the field of aviation or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage concurrent projects effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch and / or French are an asset.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate project documentation.
• Knowledge of aviation maintenance practices and regulations is a plus.
• Proficient in project management and tools and software (Excel, PowerBI,…)
