Manpower and Capacity Planning specialist

Your main responsibilities

As a Manpower and Capacity Planning specialist you report to the Manpower Planning Manager and are responsible for the analysis of the balance between resource availability and demand in order to obtain optimal resource utilisation rates:

• Perform real-time analysis of the available resources (man-hours, bays etc…) and the demanded resources in order to obtain optimal resource utilisation rates. (Tool: airframe capacity planning)
• Analyse and co-ordinates client/commercial/production demands (impact on resources) and find optimal implementation in capacity planning in order to obtain optimal resource utilisation rates.
• Perform high level allocation (total manpower and manpower per licence) of joint critical resources to projects in order to obtain optimal resource utilisation rates.
• Perform conflict management on capacity issues in co-ordination with N+1 manager and/or Base Manager when they occur during project preparation, planning and execution (adapts slots) or with commercial services when they occur during quoting and contracting phase in order to obtain optimal resource utilisation rates.
• You are co-responsible for airframe overall performance through utilisation rate. Provides enough charge in order to attain optimal utilisation rates and co-ordinates with Production with respect to holiday planning in order to prevent under-capacity or over-capacity.
• You are the main contact point for slot confirmation (sets date + start and end time) & slot changes in order to ensure efficient communication. Manages the hangars long term planning.
• Maintain the work centre planning database in order to gather and store historical workload planning data.

Your Profile

• Engineering degree in aviation maintenance or equivalent through experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in aircraft maintenance
• Solution oriented, stress resistant
• Team player; able to analyse, to synthesize, to prioritise; excellent communicator
• Customer oriented and service sensitivity
• Language skills ( English and French and or Dutch)
• IT skills ( Microsoft office)
• Knowledge of AMOS is an asset
